Self storage is quite simply a storage unit that we provide, that you’re in control of. You choose what you store in there, you choose for how long, and you choose when you want to come and go. It’s as simple as that. 

Anyone! Self storage can be used for a number of reasons, whether it be getting that household junk out of the way or for businesses wanting to store their stock somewhere safe. If you have something you want to store, a self storage unit is for you – simple! 

Yes. You can store most things, but items that are flammable, perishable, illegal or alive are naturally not allowed to be stored. This is to avoid a range of potential legal, safety or hygiene issues. If you’re unsure, the best thing to do is ask via customerservice@apexstorage.co.uk.

Put simply – as long as you want it. Whether you need storage for the next two weeks or two years, you’re more than welcome at Apex Storage. All we ask is that you provide us with appropriate notice before ending your contract.

If at any point you want to cease using your storage unit, we would appreciate a week’s notice. During those seven days you’re free to remove your property from the unit, however. 

Subject to availability, immediately. As soon as your contract is signed, you’re free to move your belongings into your new storage unit. Otherwise you can move your things in whenever is most convenient for you. 

No. Naturally if you know, then please do let us know too. However, we understand that in many cases storage is required indefinitely. As such, our contracts allow for rolling renewal of your storage unit. 

Yes. If you want to use your own padlock you’re more than welcome to, or we can provide you with a padlock and key to further secure your storage unit. You will be the only key-holder, unless you specifically request otherwise.
